Russell Shealy RS Sophomore Goalkeeper Syracuse

Shealy had an eight save evening for the Orange including four in overtime. He anchored a Syracuse defense that had to play a man down for the later part of regularion and two overtime periods to secure a 1-1 tie on the road with ACC foe Virginia Tech.

Syracuse is 0-2-2 with another difficult on the road contest coming up on Friday, October 30 against the Virginia Cavaliers.

TCU Forward Grace Collins - College Soccer News Women's National Player of the Week - Week Ending October 25, 2020

Grace Collins Sophomore Forward  TCU

Collins and her TCU teammates picked up hard fought on the road Big 12 wins over Kansas  2-0 and Kansas State 3-2 in overtime.

Collins scored the game-winning goal in overtime in the contest with Kansas State and assisted on the goal scored by Gracie Brian.

Collins has three goals and two assists to date in the fall season. 

TCU improves to 6-0-1. The Frogs will seek to remain undefeated when they travel to face Oklahoma on Friday, October 30 followed by a contest at home against West Virginia on Friday, November 6. 

Clemson Forward Kimarni Smith - College Soccer New Men's National Player of the Week - Week Ending October 18, 2020

Kimarni Smith Senior Forward Clemson

Smith played a key role in two very impressive Tiger wins.

In Clemson's 2-1 win over Wake Forest he utilized his quickness and touch on the ball to score from inside the box after receiving a cross from teammate Grayson Barber. He also made a nice move and pass in tight quarters to set up teammate Luis Felipe Fernandez-Salvador's game-winning goal.  

In Clemson's 2-1 come from behind win in overtime against Duke he contributed the helper on teammate James Brighton's game-winning goal.

Clemson is now 4-1-0 with a 2-1-0 mark in ACC play. The Tigers now travel to Raleigh to face North Carolina State on  Friday, October 23.

Auburn Defender Sarah Houchin - College Soccer News Women's National Player Of The Week - Week Ending October 18, 2020

Sarah Houchin  Senior Defender Auburn

Houchin who is from Coppell, Texas was a key part of an Auburn defense that shutout Mississippi 1-0 at home and Georgia 1-0 in Athens.

Auburn improves to 2-0-1 and is the last unbeaten team in the SEC.

It was a team effort for an Auburn squad that played 19 players in both contests.

In regard to Houchin, Auburn head coach Karen Hoppa stated, "She really is the leader of our team as a whole and certainly our defense. Hoppa added, "She was the calm in the storm and led our team to those two victories."

Auburn will put their undefeated record on the line when they host Kentucky on Saturday, October 24.
